Dani Cal formed in 2012 a band called Acid District, had been preparing mentally and musically for many years for what was approaching. It did not take long to draw the attention of the most up-to-date venues and clubs in the Levante area with its house and rogue acid. His sessions were already beginning to breathe a mixture of funk, soul and disco that you could not get out of your head.
His first references as a producer came through Suruba Records (Los Suruba label). Heisenberg and Jessy Pinkman got a banner on the cover of Beatport and enter the top 100 in less than a week. Thanks to this EP he gets the support of top artists such as Steve Lawler, Solomun, Sasha, John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Coyu... which put their tracks all over the world.
In 2013, he became part of Edu Imbernon's label, Eklektisch, with his great success Depends, which, remixed by the Swedish Tiger Stripes, has traveled half the planet with Sasha (Last Night On Earth)
In 2014 he released another EP on Eklektisch entitled "This is not another EP" with a remix from the British Hot Creations guys Greg Pidcock and Mark Jenkyns, getting the support of another of the greats, Jamie Jones.
In his hometown, Murcia, he had a party called Acid Party that was held monthly at MOSS Club, the reference club in the area. Here they invited international artists such as Cuartero, Gabriel Ananda or Flashmob.
Until 2016 he has been a resident of Chinatown (Murcia) putting the soundtrack every weekend, controlling the dance floor from late afternoon until late at night.
He has performed in the likes of Metro Dance Club, Moss club, La3 in Valencia, Metrica club in Malaga, Electromar festival, Mick's Garage in London...
He currently resides in London since 2016, where he has his recording studio.
